Personal History: Major(Ret) Michael T. Schmitt
I entered Infantry OCS as a Sergeant - 50th OCS Company, graduated 28 April 1966. Started with 150, graduated 95. I heard 35 were KIA in Vietnam. Two tours in Vietnam, two tours in Germany - 1st Inf Div, 3rd Inf Div, 7th Inf Div. I had a good 22 year career. 6 months of Infantry OCS was THE defining time in my life.
