I actually attended two of the OCS programs. I reported into Artillery OCS in the summer of 1966, managed to get a branch transfer and reported for Infantry OCS in Feb 1967. I graduated with Class 48-67 in Aug 1967. It is my opinion that the Artillery OCS program was the tougher of the two. The fact that I reported into "Benning School For Boys" as a Senior Candidate (Red Bird) may have had some bearing on the subject but I doubt it. Benning didn't have CATO's, MB4, north-south sidewalks, etc. to contend with...
