Personal History: CPT Scott J. Aldridge USAR
I had the pleasure or displeasure of Deploying to Saudi Arabia with the 1/623 FA during Desert Storm. My father had been stationed there in 1957 in the Air Force. My Chemical OBC had approx 35 people in it. I ran across 6 of my classmates while in the Desert. All by accident. We all served in Different Divisions except for one that was in the Brigade HQ.
I had 14 family members that rode with Morgan's men during the Civil War. The 1/623d has in its lineage the title of "Morgan's Men." Small Army and Smaller World. OCS was total Hell but the memory brings back nothing but Smiles and Memories that won't ever be forgotten. I would have to say OCS was the single best Military Experience of my 19 years so far.
